The Wraith is a well-balanced mid-range ship designed to intercept enemies and harass its opponents.
The Spur has a modified chassis to fit the Heavy’s Micro Warp Drive (MWD), enabling it to quickly capture objectives and also employ hit-and-run tactics when needed.
The Displacer pushes towards the Support’s combat medic role. It uses the buff beam to provide aid to friendly pilots while retaining good damage output thanks to the Mag Cannon.
The Heavy is intended as a mobile weapons platform whose primary role is to control an area of space.
The Spectre is a mobile heavy weapons platform which has a devastating wide-angle, multi-target attack. It uses the lethal combination its Flak Cannon and an Electromagnetic Shield (EMS) to dominate the area around it.
The Storm moves away from the Spectre’s base design by prioritising shields over armor. It replaces the Spectre’s Flak Cannon with the energy based Laser Gatling gun.
The Maelstrom builds on the Storm’s base design by further prioritising shields over armor. However, it replaces the Laser Gatling with a modified Flak Cannon known as the Mortar.
The Support is a specialised class designed to aid teammates via the Buff Beam. Support players can use it to either heal their allies or drain their enemies’ shields.
The Banshee’s main focus is to repair its teammates in battle. It is also a capable combat craft thanks to the firepower of its Phaser.
The Guardian builds on the Banshee’s base design but is more focused on combat. The Guardian trades its Spiderbots for the ECM and its Phaser for the Wraith’s Gatling Gun.
The Phantom is a Support ship even more specced-out for combat than the Guardian. It fulfils the role of an artillery unit, replacing the Gatling Gun and Buff Beam with a full armament of Missile Pods.
